The natural resources exploration and production industry is not new to Pennsylvania or Wayne County. However, many of us were unfamiliar with the geology, industry methods and regulations when the prospect of the natural gas industry emerged in this portion of the State. Luckily there is a tremendous amount of information available on these and other relevant topics.
A core function of the Wayne County Oil and Gas Task Force is to provide an educational forum on the issues that are associated with the development of this industry here in Wayne County. As such, the Task Force continues to either host or promote educational events that can educate Wayne County’s residents about this industry.
