Events

 

The natural resources exploration and production industry is not new to Pennsylvania or Wayne County.  However, many of us were unfamiliar with the geology, industry methods and regulations when the prospect of the natural gas industry emerged in this portion of the State.  Luckily there is a tremendous amount of information available on these and other relevant topics.

Penn State Cooperative Extension

The Penn State Cooperative Extension is a valuable source of information in regard to the natural gas industry.  The Cooperative Extension has a Marcellus Education Team of more than 40 county-based educators and faculty that research and provide information on a range of issues associated with the natural gas industry.  The Penn State Cooperative Extension educators frequently host or participate in educational events throughout the areas of the State where gas industry activity is either occurring or likely to occur.  To view a listing of Penn State Cooperative Extension “Events & Webinars”, click here.
